Lisa is thinking about the gymworld questions....Germany's rising star Lisa Brüggemann is making her mark on the international scene. Born December 29, 1984 in Offenbach/Main, Brüggemann was the youngest member of the German squad that placed a disappointing 15th at the 1999 World Championships. Lisa's family is strongly connected with gymnastics, both her parents and younger sister Mira were gymnasts. Her father is one of the most prominent bio-mechanics world-wide. He conducted a much publicised study at the request of the German Gymnastics Federation (DTB) that contradicts the popular myth that women's artistic gymnastics in a dangerous sport.
