Gymnastics photographer Rowena Pearce is no more. Sources within British gymnastics report that Pearce, who has been seen photographing nearly all major gymnastics events in the past few years, married fiancé Paul on September 21, 2002. Rowena Pearce confirmed to Gymworld that she will now go by the name of "Rowena Humphrey". The source, which begged us to remain anonymous, continued that the happy couple "had just gone out there and had fun on their big day". : Rowena Pearce is an official photographer for British Gymnastics (BAGA) and is a regular feature at competitions in Great Britain. In addition, she has covered the 2000 Men's and Women's European Championships, the 2000 World Cup Final, the 2001 World Championships, the 2002 Women's European Championships as well as a host of competitions on the World Cup and Grand Prix Circuit.

She also coaches at Brighton & Hove Gym Club. Katie Seabrook, a former pupil of B&HGC, spent time training in Russia last year and was featured on the BBC documentray "Trading Places". Despite her photographing and coaching commitments; Pearce-now-Humphrey finds time for other things, inlcuding an avid interest in Formula 1; she is big Ferrari fan! The entire Gymworld team wishes her the very best and thanks her for unselfishly sharing her pictures with us!.
