Dear gymworlders...

...it's the end of the world as we know it...

...our good old gymworld now has a long journey behind it. It had to make a jump to a new server and software and over five years of technical progress within one day. Though we experienced only a few serious problems after we upgraded it, we are quite sure that you will find some errors somewhere. Please let us know. We need these information as well as any suggestions and wishes you want to tell us. What we do not want to forget is to mention the song which (I admit that I didn't even know beforbe but after a while) became our hymn when working on with bits and bytes...

What we want you to know about the new gymworld is... first of all that it is still a beta-version. The idea was that we make the first steps and finish it together with our users.

Apart from that you will find out...

-> that the header graphic is not yet the final one, it is a beta-dymmie
-> that the Dragos Pub chat is back now and running on the gymworld server. Let us know what you think about it
-> that we also opended a link to the gymbase. This project was created in 2005, but never finished completely. Later more about it.
-> that all gymworlders now have there own blogs. Start a blog if you feel like!
-> that the board itself has many many more features now, check this and try to understand them
-> that if you are annoyed about settings, you simply can tell us where and why and we can see what we can do to change it (if we want :-) )
-> that registration for new accounts are still closed, but will open in the next future
-> that smileys are missing but will come back step by step
-> that you directly can embed youtube videos now and ver soon pictures at imageshack as well

But MOST we need feedback. Please post it in the sticky threads in Wold Of Gymnastics Forum!
